Speak in generalities without sounding stiff — and meet ജനങ്ങൾ, a noun that is already plural.

 അനു —  രവീ, കഴിഞ്ഞ വർഷം നീ പല നാടുകളിൽ പോയി. ലോകം എങ്ങനെ ഉണ്ട്? 
Ravi, last year you went to a lot of countries. What is the world like?  
 രവി —  ലോകം വലുതാണ്. പക്ഷേ ജനങ്ങൾ എല്ലായിടത്തും ഒരുപോലെ ആണ് എന്ന് എനിക്ക് തോന്നുന്നു. 
The world is big. But people are much the same everywhere, I think.  
 അനു —  എങ്ങനെ ഒരുപോലെ? 
The same how?  
 രവി —  എവിടെയും ജനങ്ങൾക്ക് ജോലി വേണം, കുട്ടികൾക്ക് വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം വേണം. അതാണ് സാധാരണ ജീവിതം. 
Everywhere people want work, and children need education. That is ordinary life.  
 അനു —  സംസ്കാരം വേറെ അല്ലേ? 
But the culture is different, isn't it?  
 രവി —  സംസ്കാരം വേറെയാണ് — ഭക്ഷണം വേറെ, ഭാഷ വേറെ. എന്നാൽ ഓരോ സമൂഹത്തിലും ആളുകൾ ഒരുമിച്ച് ജീവിക്കുന്നു. 
The culture is different — different food, different language. But in every society people live together.  
 അനു —  അപ്പോൾ യാത്ര ഒരു വലിയ പാഠം ആണ്. 
So travelling is a big lesson.  
 രവി —  അതെ. പുറത്തുപോയിട്ട് തിരികെ വരുമ്പോൾ നമുക്ക് സ്വന്തം നാട് നന്നായി മനസ്സിലാകും. 
Yes. When you go away and come back, you understand your own place better.  

വിശദീകരണം · Explanation

പൊതുവായ കാര്യം പറയാൻ വർത്തമാനകാലം മതി: 'ജനങ്ങൾ ജോലി ചെയ്യുന്നു.' ഭാവികാലവും പൊതുവായ അർഥത്തിൽ വരും: 'നല്ല വാക്ക് എപ്പോഴും സഹായിക്കും.' രണ്ടും ശരി.

To say what is generally true, the plain present is enough: ജനങ്ങൾ ജോലി ചെയ്യുന്നു, people work. The future in -ഉം does the same job when you mean 'as a rule': നല്ല വാക്ക് എപ്പോഴും സഹായിക്കും, a kind word always helps. Malayalam has no separate 'general truth' tense to learn.

പക്ഷേ 'എല്ലാ ജനങ്ങളും എപ്പോഴും' എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞാൽ വാക്യം കടുപ്പമാകും. സാധാരണ, പലപ്പോഴും, ഒരുപക്ഷേ, '… എന്ന് തോന്നുന്നു' — ഇവ ചേർത്താൽ സംസാരം മയപ്പെടും.

A generalisation without a hedge sounds hard: എല്ലാ ജനങ്ങളും എപ്പോഴും … lands like a law. Soften it the way Malayalam speakers do — with സാധാരണ (usually), പലപ്പോഴും (often), ഒരുപക്ഷേ (perhaps), or by closing the sentence with എന്ന് തോന്നുന്നു, 'it seems to me'. That one phrase turns a pronouncement back into an opinion.

'ജനങ്ങൾ' ബഹുവചനം തന്നെ. 'ജനങ്ങൾകൾ' എന്ന രൂപം ഇല്ല. വിഭക്തി: ജനങ്ങളുടെ, ജനങ്ങൾക്ക്, ജനങ്ങളെ. സംസാരത്തിൽ 'ആളുകൾ' കൂടുതൽ ഉപയോഗിക്കും. -അം എന്ന് അവസാനിക്കുന്ന നാമങ്ങൾക്ക് വാൽ ചേരുമ്പോൾ -ത്ത് വരും: ജീവിതം → ജീവിതത്തിൽ, ലോകം → ലോകത്തിൽ, സമൂഹം → സമൂഹത്തിന്റെ.

ജനങ്ങൾ is already plural — there is no ജനങ്ങൾകൾ. Its case forms are ജനങ്ങളുടെ, ജനങ്ങൾക്ക്, ജനങ്ങളെ. In speech people more often say ആളുകൾ; ജനങ്ങൾ has a slightly public, written ring to it. And note what the -അം nouns do when a case ending arrives: they insert -ത്ത്. ജീവിതം gives ജീവിതത്തിൽ, ലോകം gives ലോകത്തിൽ, സമൂഹം gives സമൂഹത്തിന്റെ, സംസ്കാരം gives സംസ്കാരത്തെ.

ലോകം, ജനങ്ങൾ, സംസ്കാരം — ഈ മൂന്നു വാക്കുകൊണ്ട് മൂന്നു വാക്യം ഉറക്കെ പറയുക. ഓരോന്നിലും ഒരു മയപ്പെടുത്തൽ വേണം: 'സാധാരണ ജനങ്ങൾ …', 'ഒരുപക്ഷേ …', '… എന്ന് എനിക്ക് തോന്നുന്നു.' പിന്നെ സ്വന്തം സമൂഹത്തിൽ ഒരു വാക്യം കൂടി.

Say three sentences about the world out loud, and put a hedge in each one: start one with സാധാരണ ജനങ്ങൾ …, one with ഒരുപക്ഷേ …, and finish one with … എന്ന് എനിക്ക് തോന്നുന്നു. Then add a fourth about your own society or your own culture — എന്റെ സമൂഹത്തിൽ …, എന്റെ നാട്ടിലെ സംസ്കാരത്തിൽ …. Notice how much friendlier the hedged sentence sounds than the flat one.
