ഭാവികാലം ഉണ്ടാക്കാൻ -ഉക മാറ്റി -ഉം ചേർക്കുക: പോകുക → പോകും, വരുക → വരും, ചെയ്യുക → ചെയ്യും, പറയുക → പറയും, കാണുക → കാണും, പഠിക്കുക → പഠിക്കും.
To make the future, take the dictionary form in -ഉക, drop the -ഉക and add -ഉം: പോകുക becomes പോകും, വരുക becomes വരും, ചെയ്യുക becomes ചെയ്യും, പറയുക becomes പറയും, കാണുക becomes കാണും, പഠിക്കുക becomes പഠിക്കും. One suffix, no exceptions to memorise here.
ഭൂതകാലം പോലെ, ഭാവികാലവും എല്ലാവർക്കും ഒന്നുതന്നെ: ഞാൻ പോകും · നീ പോകും · അവൻ പോകും · അവൾ പോകും · അവർ പോകും. ചോദ്യം ചോദിക്കാൻ -ഓ ചേർക്കുക: വരും + ഓ → വരുമോ?
Just as with the past, one form serves everybody: ഞാൻ പോകും, നീ പോകും, അവൻ പോകും, അവൾ പോകും, അവർ പോകും. Three tenses learned and still not a single ending table. To ask a yes/no question, add the -ഓ you met in level 1: വരും plus ഓ gives വരുമോ?
ഈ രൂപം പതിവായി ചെയ്യുന്ന കാര്യങ്ങൾക്കും ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നു: 'രാവിലെ ഞാൻ ചായ കുടിക്കും' — എന്നും അങ്ങനെ ചെയ്യുന്നു എന്ന് അർഥം. 'ഇപ്പോൾ ഞാൻ ചായ കുടിക്കുന്നു' — ഈ നിമിഷം.
The same -ഉം form also states a habit. രാവിലെ ഞാൻ ചായ കുടിക്കും does not mean 'tomorrow morning I will drink tea' — it means 'I drink tea in the morning, as a rule'. Compare ഇപ്പോൾ ഞാൻ ചായ കുടിക്കുന്നു, which is only about this moment. The time word in the sentence tells your listener which reading is meant.

Say three things you will do tomorrow, out loud: നാളെ ഞാൻ … പോകും, നാളെ ഞാൻ … കാണും, നാളെ ഞാൻ … ചെയ്യും. Then turn one into a question for a friend — നാളെ നിങ്ങൾ വരുമോ? — and finish with one habit stated in the same tense, like രാവിലെ ഞാൻ പത്രം വായിക്കും.
